Currently, university-enterprise cooperation has become a key driver for advancing technological innovation and talent development. To further deepen the integration of academic disciplines with industries, on May 8, 2025, the Changzhou Chamber of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises and Changzhou University held a "face-to-face" dialogue at Changzhou University. The initiative aimed to build a bridge for "industry-education integration and symbiotic university-enterprise development" — through in-depth discussions on technology demand alignment, joint talent cultivation mechanisms, and achievement transformation pathways, the market acumen of enterprises and the research creativity of universities would be combined to jointly write a new chapter of mutual prosperity between the renowned city (Changzhou) and the prestigious university.
During this face-to-face exchange with Changzhou University, Mr. Zhang Fangjian, Executive Director of our company and Vice President of the Chamber, participated in the dialogue. He provided a detailed introduction to our company’s development history, organizational structure, and business segments, and further discussed potential cooperation areas with Changzhou University, including scientific research collaboration and talent exchange & training. He also clearly stated the company’s expectation to carry out in-depth and comprehensive cooperation with Changzhou University in fields such as anti-corrosion coatings and equipment for oil pipelines, unmanned vehicle applications, and intelligent coating equipment. The goal is to develop more training programs that meet industry needs and contribute to the cultivation of high-quality professionals. Meanwhile, he expressed hope that both the university and enterprises would leverage their respective resource advantages to explore and establish broader new mechanisms and approaches for cooperative exchanges, achieve higher-level resource sharing, and jointly build a "complex" for in-depth integration of science & education and industry & education — thereby better embodying the university’s positioning of supporting regional economic, cultural, and urban development.
At the meeting, President Chen of Changzhou University, on behalf of the university, presented "Entrepreneurial Mentor" appointment letters to the entrepreneurs from the Chamber. This not only represents recognition of the entrepreneurs’ practical experience but also embodies the responsibility of collaborative talent cultivation between universities and enterprises. The university boasts abundant research resources and a professional talent team, while enterprises possess practical production experience and market acumen. Through joint cooperation, the two parties will promote technological progress and create greater value for society.
