1. About Dacromet

Many advantages of the Dacromet process have been explored and amplified, and it has become a process with a wide range of applications, especially for metal parts such as thin-plated metal fasteners, standard parts, and special parts that need to withstand high-temperature environments.


2. About galvanization

Galvanizing is divided into electro galvanizing and hot dip galvanizing, which is generally used for corrosion resistant coating, or painting primer (just from the process, which actually makes the surface coating to get a better appearance), electro galvanizing has a thicker film , usually 5-15um, and comes in several conventional colors of blue, multicolor, black, and military green, with corrosion resistance ranging from more than 10 hours to 100 hours and close to 200 hours in neutral salt spray test. The pollution of electrogalvanizing process is more serious than that of Dacromet process. The advantages of galvanizing over Dacromet are easy operation, low cost, low energy consumption, and better surface finish, so you can choose it if you consider these. High quality zinc plating with sufficient zinc content and excellent quality, suitable for outdoor fasteners and other parts of long-term corrosion requirements, hot dip galvanized is a protective coating, generally used in such as general highway guardrails, street lights, etc. general salt spray test easily over 500 hours, but the appearance is poor, the decorative places also needs to use paint and so on to get a better appearance.
